Effective June 2026. Parker is an AI voice-and-text demo that answers questions about publicly available City of Long Beach information.
Parker does not collect, retain, or store any personal information about callers. Your call or text is processed by the AI assistant in real time, for the sole purpose of understanding and answering your question in that moment. Nothing about your conversation is saved, logged, recorded, profiled, sold, or shared, and nothing is kept after the conversation ends.
Texts are opt-in only. You opt in either by asking Parker out loud during a call to text you a link, or through our online opt-in form. Parker then texts you only the official City of Long Beach link(s) you request. Message frequency varies and is low. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, or HELP for help.
If you opt in through the online form, we keep a single record of that consent, your phone number, the date, and the consent wording you agreed to, solely as proof of opt-in required by mobile-carrier (A2P) rules. We do not use it for marketing, do not sell or share it, and your mobile opt-in data is never shared with third parties for their own purposes. We never sell phone numbers. The contents of your calls are still never logged or stored.
To operate this demo, your conversation passes through ElevenLabs (real-time voice) and, for texts you request, Twilio (SMS delivery). They process your interaction only to provide these functions in the moment; their own handling is governed by their policies. Parker itself keeps nothing.
This demo is not directed to children under 13.
